Match Your Use Case

Generate at the ratio you need. Cropping after generation wastes good content and may cut important elements.

Upscale After Generation

Generate at native resolution, then upscale. Going too large during generation causes artifacts and duplicated elements.

DALL-E Limitations

DALL-E 3 only supports three ratios: square (1:1), landscape (1792×1024), and portrait (1024×1792).
